Case Submisssion
Pathologists and hematologists/oncologists are encouraged to submit cases to the Joint CSHP/SH Workshop 2019. The Scientific Panel will review all submitted cases, and select 30 cases for platform presentations at the Workshop. Images of the 30 selected cases will be available to all Workshop attendees. Case Submission begins on March 1, 2019, and ends on July 5, 2019 (12:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time). Notification for selected cases will be sent out by August 19, 2019.
Case Types
1). Chronic EBV infections and borderline lymphoproliferations;
2). EBV-related lymphomas (excluding PTLD);
3). HIV- and HHV8-related lymphomas;
4). Other infectious agent-associated lymphomas (H. pylori, HTLV-1, Hep B, Hep C, and others);
Feature of Cases
The Workshop will focus on cases that are diagnostically challenging with one or more of the following features:
1). Infectious agent-association lymphoproliferation bordering between reactive lymphoid proliferation and lymphomas;
2). Rare special type of Infectious agent-association lymphoproliferation with unusual clinical, morphologic, immunophenotypic, or genetic features;
3). Various subtypes of Infectious agent-association lymphoproliferation with special genetic susceptibility;
4). Progression and transformation of various subtypes of Infectious agent-association lymphoproliferation;
5). Exemplary demonstration of various subtypes of Infectious agent-association lymphoproliferation using multidisciplinary correlations;
